Application Process
Step 1: Applying
Apply for admission online. A non-refundable application fee of $65 is required with each graduate program application. You will be asked to submit your payment at the end of your online application. Applicants should review the requirements outlined in the Graduate Bulletin for specific deadlines and required supporting materials for each program. Visit the Programs page to see available online degree programs.
Step 2: Acceptance and V-Number
If accepted, the Graduate School will provide you with your V-Number.
Step 3: Establishing your eID
Use your V-number and date of birth at VCU eID Finder to establish your eID and eID password.
Step 4: Advising & Registering
After setting up your eID, contact the coordinator of the program you have enrolled in so the coordinator can help you identify courses you will need to register for. You will register for your courses through VCU eServices. Please see these instructionsfor registering for courses in eServices.
Step 5: VCUCard
You need a VCUCARD number to access available online library resources. You can receive an actual card by sending your photo through your VCU email account to vcucard@vcu.edu or by stopping either of the VCUCard offices at the Monroe Park Campus or MCV campus.
